Rules and Regulations for Upcoming Special Events

General Rules

No Aggressive Dogs Allowed

Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs will not be permitted.

One Handler Per Dog for Working Spots

Each dog participating in a working spot must have one designated handler.

Audit Spots

Audit spots are available for those who wish to observe the classes without bringing a dog.

Vaccination Requirement

• All dogs must be fully vaccinated.
• Medical records proving vaccination must be sent to k9wassist@gmail.com prior to the event.

Class Structure

Problem-Solving Focus

Each class will concentrate on solving a specific problem.

Duration

Each class will last 90 minutes.

Handler Responsibility

Handlers are responsible for their dog’s behavior and adherence to the event rules.

Additional Guidelines

Leash and Control

Dogs must be kept on a leash and under control at all times unless otherwise instructed by the class facilitator.

Health and Safety

• Dogs showing signs of illness or distress should not attend the event.
• Handlers should bring water and any necessary supplies for their dog’s comfort.

Respect for Participants

• Be respectful of other handlers and their dogs.
• Follow the instructor’s directions promptly and accurately.

Cleanliness

Handlers must clean up after their dogs immediately.
